Car hire at Seychelles International Airport

Land at Mahé, walk out of arrivals, and drive off — that's the whole process. Seychelles Car Hire is based at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) in Pointe Larue, and we meet every customer in person with the car ready, fuelled and cooled down. No rental counter, no shuttle bus, no queue.

How the airport hand-over works

1. Book online — pick your car, dates and times; you get an instant confirmation email with your booking reference. Add your flight number so we can track delays.
2. We meet you at arrivals — look for our sign with your name just outside the arrivals exit. The car park is a one-minute walk.
3. Quick check & keys — a short walk-around, the rental agreement, and you're on the road, usually within 10 minutes of clearing customs.

Landing late or on a delayed flight? No problem — we track arrivals and wait. Hand-over is free, 24/7, and drop-off at the airport on departure day works the same way in reverse: we meet you at the car park and you walk straight to check-in.

Cars and rates at the airport

Every car in our fleet is automatic, air-conditioned and comes with unlimited mileage. Daily rates start at €45/day for a Hyundai Grand i10 or Suzuki Celerio — ideal for couples — up to €55/day for a Suzuki Brezza or Toyota Urban Cruiser compact SUV with more luggage room. Rentals are charged per 24 hours from your pick-up time, so an afternoon-to-afternoon rental counts as one day, not two.

Driving times from the airport

• Victoria (capital, Cat Cocos ferry to Praslin) — about 15 minutes north
• Eden Island — about 10 minutes
• Beau Vallon Beach — about 30 minutes over the scenic St Louis pass
• Anse Royale — about 20 minutes down the east coast
• Anse Intendance / Takamaka — about 35 minutes to the wild south

We also hand over at the Cat Cocos Ferry Terminal in Victoria, the Domestic Airport Terminal, and hotels across Mahé — including Beau Vallon, Eden Island and Anse Royale. Just choose your pick-up point when booking and put your hotel or ferry in the arrival details.
